Outlaw Country

You can tell that you've reached outlaw country when you see this. These signs mark the end of the mapped Hatfield-McCoy Trail systems and the beginning of the outlaw trails. You don't need a permit to ride the outlaw trails. The outlaw trails are ride at your own risk. The outlaw trails are not maintained, marked or mapped by anyone; however, there are many satellite GPS maps of the area available to download prior to your trip. There are also guide services available locally for a fee.

Pinnacle Creek Trails

The Pinnacle Creek Trail system is just one of the three trailheads you can access by trail from our camp. This trail system features mostly blue and green trails with some single track and and more difficult atv trails. The Pinnacle Creek Trail system has scenic mountain views as well as muddy creekside trails lined with Rhododendron. You can ride your ATV from our camp into the towns of Mullens and Pineville.

Pocahontas Trails

The Pocahontas Trail system features a great mix of green, blue and black trails. The Pocahontas trail system has scenic mountain views, mud, and rocky climbs that lead you  into the historic town of Bramwell. The Pocahontas Trail system links with the Indian Ridge, Pinnacle Creek and the new Spearhead trail systems to create the largest continuous trail riding areas on the east coast.

Indian Ridge Trails

The Indian Ridge Trail system features mostly blue and black trails, but does have some green trails for the beginning rider. The Indian Ridge Trail system also has single track and more difficult atv trails. This trail system has scenic mountain views and runs above the Ashland area. You can reach this trail system within 10 minutes via trail from our camp and ride into the towns of Keystone and North Fork.

The Devil's Den

The Devil's Den trail system features a mix of on and off-road trails and roadways that are great for dual sport riders and street bikers as well. The on road routes offer a winding, scenic ride for street bikes through the mountains of southern West Virginia coal country. Dual sport riders can begin in Bramwell or Northfork, ride the  Pocahontas, Indian Ridge, and Pinnacle Creek trails into Pineville and then hit the hardtop and ride towards Gilbert to hit the Rock House trails. These trails and roadways cover and link the entire Hatfield McCoy trail system.  You can ride over 1,000 miles of trails and roads in the area that was home to William Anderson “Devil Anse” Hatfield and his family. The Spearhead Trails

Spearhead trail system can be reached from our camp by riding to Bramwell  and then on over to the trailhead near Pocahontas, Virginia.
